Cancer Don’t Let It Win invites to their upcoming event, “I’m Still Standing: Prostate Cancer Awareness.”
The Mayor of Southwark, Cllr Naima Ali, is supporting this event as part of our efforts to raise awareness of prostate cancer during Black History Month.
Thursday, October 17th, at Southwark Council, 160 Tooley Street, London SE1 2QH, from 4pm to 7pm.
The focus of this gathering will be on communities that are at higher risk of being diagnosed with prostate cancer. We believe it is crucial to address these communities’ health disparities and provide a platform for sharing experiences and knowledge.
Attendees will hear from men who share their experiences, providing valuable insights and fostering community.
Additionally, we are honoured to have Consultant and Surgeon Jonathan Noel as one of our speakers, who will offer expert perspectives on prostate health and the importance of early detection.
