We are moving into new premises in Brixton in the Autumn, and thanks to increased space we will be looking to expand our volunteer team.

LOVO CIC have recently been funded by the London Community Foundation to provide cost of living support to women 18 years and over who are victims or survivors of domestic abuse and violence living in Southwark, Lewisham and Lambeth.

Commu TV were happy to cover the Holistic Well Women presenting the Furaha Choir.  Gospel group Furaha Choir is based in Lewisham. Through spiritual gospel singing, the organization has helped heal community servants. Over the years, Holistic well-women and women of substance have emerged as a result of this phenomenon

The PFYPF is part of Southwark Council's Youth New Deal, which was created following a Strategic Review of Youth Services in 2020. The review set out a firm commitment to ensuring that youth activity programmes are informed and shaped by what young people want. Through this Fund we aim to provide an inclusive and responsive youth service. Addressing inequalities by supporting, informing, upskilling and encouraging young people.

The South East London (SEL) Integrated Care Board (ICB) has made £240,000 in non-recurrent funding available to the Southwark system to spend on projects to support implementation of the SEL autism strategy.

A new community-led panel will decide how best to use £100,000 from Partnership Southwark and South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust (SLAM) to support community groups to tackle health inequalities in Southwark’s Black and minority ethnic communities. Made up of representatives from BAME and Latin American organisations in the borough, this pioneering panel has come together to devise and co-design a unique funding programme using their collective expertise.
