Camberwell After School Project (CASP) are recruiting for posts in their management team

Camberwell After School Project (CASP) is a highly successful out of school childcare provider situated in South London with a “Good” rating from Ofsted. Our main aim is:

“To advance the development and education of children, young people, and adults”.

CASP has been an essential part of the local community for more than 36 years and these roles are integral to the present and future of our organisation.

The team are looking to recruit dedicated, experience and proactive senior staff members to join their management team:

Experienced – Operational Manager

This role has responsibility for overseeing the delivery of CASP’s special projects and programmes, working with the Service Leaders to ensure targets are met and delivery is within agreed budgets. This key role will also promote programmes/activities within our multicultural and inclusive community. The postholder will need be approachable to parents (to support increase in parental involvement within the organisation), staff and children, be organised and have great interpersonal skills. The successful postholder will also deputise for the CEO.

Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Salary: £32,000.00 per annual inclusive of annual leave + 3% pension contribution

Duration: Permanent

Experienced – Finance Officer (part-time)

The purpose of the Finance Officer’s post is to oversee and manage the organisation’s financial operation and proactively manage the office for Camberwell After School Project (CASP). The successful postholder must have previous experience of finance/accounting, including payroll, use of a financial cloud system such as Xero or other similar type of system and be part CIMA/ACCA/CIPFA qualified.

Hours: 30 hours per week

Salary: £25,600 per annum inclusive of annual leave + 3% pension contribution

Duration: Permanent

Experience Pre-School Early Years Manager – Term time

This role will work with the Operational Manager and Early Years Practitioners to lead high quality early years education and childcare. Key tasks and responsibilities will include:

· Supervising and nurturing a small team of early years practitioners

· Overseeing the implementation of the Early Years Foundation Stage

· Supporting all children’s development including those with SEN – ADHD and Autism in a safe, simulating, child-centred and healthy life-long learning environment

· Implementing our values, priorities, and the charity’s aims and objectives

Hours: 8.00am – 3.30pm 35 hours per week (39) term time only

Salary: £21,074.00 PA (inclusive of 5.6 weeks paid A/L) + 3% Pension Contribution

Duration: Permanent

Experience Pre-School Early Years’ Room Leader – Term Time

Support the Early Years Manager with supervision and co-ordination of the early years learning provision age 2-years and rising. Plan activities using wide variety of creative resources to enable children to develop both socially and academically (for life-long learning) and by the provision of the early year’s curriculum. Monitoring to observe the impact of learning and progress.

Ensure adequate supervision and support of good practice amongst, staff and volunteers are followed. Deliver high quality play provision for all children in a safe, stimulating, happy and healthy environment.

SALARY: £15,658 PA (Inclusive of 28 days paid annual Leave) + 3% pension contribution

HOURS: 8.00am – 3.00pm Monday – Friday (Term-time only 38 weeks per year)
