Amazing Grace Project (AGP) community Project, the winner of Southwark Faith & Belief Awards 2022, is looking for a new home.
AGP community project has been supporting the most vulnerable people of our community, regardless of faith, and providing a safe place in Southwark since April 2018. For the elderly, those with no recourse to public funds, youth clubs and so on.
During the pandemic they expanded their support to delivery of food parcels and operating community hub. Collaborating with different organisations like Felix project and Fareshare allowed them to bring good food to the community and support healthy eating choices through regular education. They delivered food parcels to 120 household per week. Their referrals come from Southwark Council, Community Hub, Community Southwark, GPs, CMHTs and so on.
In the current financial crisis they have put their services on hold as they do not have a suitable premises. The church premises they have been using had to close and this left them homeless.
