We have received over 50 applications for the All in One Gift cards – they are on their way!

As you know Partnership Southwark wanted to thank everyone for all the tremendous work voluntary and community groups have provided during the pandemic (original article HERE). All the vouchers have now been allocated  and on the way but we wanted to share a few stories of their amazing work!

“Providing health food for the vulnerable people in our community. Delivering food for the elderly people in the community” [Zenoch community Hub]

“Increased level of support for older people and those with mental health challenges. Deliveries of food, medications, art and craft supplies. 1:1 telephone support where needed, regular welfare calls, zoom sessions, help to get online, help in emergencies etc. We could not have done this without our fantastic Mental Health & Wellbeing team, Positive Ageing team and a group of extremely committed and conscientious volunteers.” [Blackfriars Settlement]

“During the pandemic, we supported at-risk young people and their families with welfare support, on and off our register.” [Active Communities Network]

“Expanded our therapeutic horticulture programmes, safely running outside, to support those facing loneliness, isolation, mental health difficulties, and pandemic-related trauma.” [Walworth Garden]

“We provided mental health and wellbeing support services as well as Food support to autistic people and their families from mainly the BAME community.” [Autism Voice]

“We supported local women and their families with online mentoring activities and telephone befriending service to keep them motivated and inspired.” [Ladies of Virtue Outreach CIC)
