50 for Free: short breaks for charities – Applications open 19th of March

Next week, applications will open for this year’s 50 for Free; offering free stays for charities and non-profit organisations in our historic buildings.

To mark our charity’s 60th anniversary, this year we are offering 60 free stays! We’ve selected 31 Landmark properties from Argyll to Ramsgate, Manchester to Devon for you to choose from in your application. The options include towers by the sea, fairytale castles, peaceful countryside cottages and easy-to-reach city centre pads.

Applications are open to charities and non-profit organisations to apply for a free stay on behalf of their service users or teams, via a simple online form on our website. Individuals are not eligible to apply for themselves.

50 for Free timeline 2025

Wednesday 19 March, 12pm (noon) – Wednesday 14 May, 12pm (noon): Application window open
By the end of June: Stays offered to successful applicants
Friday 7 – Monday 10 November: Weekend stays
Monday 10 – Friday 14 November: Mid-week stays
