The Small Groups Network meeting brings together people from community groups and organisations that are either completely run by volunteers, or have fewer than 2 paid members of staff.
It is an opportunity to think about grassroots activitiy in the borough, network and meet others, and get support and information that is tailored to your needs.
What's on the Agenda for the April Meeting?
Our meeting in April has a fundraising theme but approaching it from two fronts - grant funding and attracting donations using online platforms.
1) Lillie Swift will join us from the Big Lottery Fund to discuss the needs and issues in your local communities and specifically target beneficiaries. She will also present funding opportunities that you should consider apply for.
2) In the second part of our meeting, Adriano Mancinelli from KindLink will give a short presentation and explain how to use their online platform to better attract donations. KindLink allows you to show donors the impact of their donations and gives voluntary and community organisations the tools to be more efficient and transparent.
It promises to be a keen learning and practical event / meeting.
