Community Southwark is looking for a Volunteering Advice Services Officer to join our dynamic team to help us deliver the advice and support we give to individuals who want to volunteer in Southwark. This is an exciting and varied role with opportunities to work with a wide range of voluntary sector organisations, lead on developing new initiatives and to champion volunteering in the borough.
We are looking for an individual with an understanding and passion for volunteering. You will need good communication and organisation skills to manage 1:1 appointments in the Volunteering Advice Service and also good customer service and public speaking skills to lead on promoting volunteering across the borough.
You will be working as a part of a dynamic team including a team of volunteers who you will be responsible for. You will also help in facilitating workshops and delivering training to people interested in volunteering.
- Salary: £28,771 per annum
- Contract: Permanent (35 hours per week)

Community Southwark is a London Living Wage employer and we have an Investing in People Standard Accreditation. We run a company pension scheme and offer all staff 2 days a year volunteering.
