The Virgin Money London Marathon takes place on Sunday 22 April 2018
For the last few years Community Southwark has received 6 places for voluntary and community organisations in Southwark, which have been distributed through a prize draw.
Last years runners raised £11,347 in total!
This year, Community Southwark will be receiving another another 6 places to distribute to voluntary organisations in Southwark (these are kindly donated out of the 20 places given to Southwark Council every year for the Mayor's chosen charities).
We can only give 1 place per organisation and the runner will have to pay for the place when signing up to the console (most organisations take this out of the final total raised).
How do I get in the ballot?
Simply email firstname.lastname@example.org with the organisation name, a contact name, email and number.
What will happen then?
There will be a prize draw on Wednesday 1 November at 12pm - everyone who would like a place will go into a hat unless there are only 6 takers.
The winners must sign up using the Virgin Money portal when it opens (I will send out information on how to do this). It must be completed by the runner, by a deadline (again this will be provided), if you do not complete this process your place may be given to someone else.
