Shakespeare's Globe celebrate Shakespeare’s transformative impact on the world by conducting a radical theatrical experiment. Inspired and informed by the unique historic playing conditions of two beautiful iconic theatres, Shakespeare's Globe's diverse programme of work harnesses the power of performance, cultivates intellectual curiosity and excites learning to make Shakespeare accessible for all.
Due to an internal promotion to provide maternity cover, Shakespeare's Globe are currently seeking a Senior Coordinator on an interim basis who will be responsible for the co-ordination and administration of the Globe’s Lively Action programme of workshops and lectures for school students. The Senior Coordinator will support the Learning and Teaching Manager in planning, resourcing and evaluating the Lively Action programme and support the Lively Action team to ensure that each session is planned, staffed and resourced to a consistently high standard.
The successful candidate will have strong administrative experience with knowledge of current trends in education and the needs of students and teachers. They will have strong time management, planning and organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure, make quick decisions and a passion for education in the arts.
