Job title: Rose Playhouse General Manager

Contract: Full-time/Fixed-Term (37.5 hours per week/12 months)

Salary: £27,000 per annum

Rose Playhouse are looking for a General Manager to build awareness and enegagement, as well as ensure the effective running of the site.

The post-holder will be responsible for day-to-day management of the site and programmes and supervision of volunteers and contractors, consultants and other staff appointed by the Board from time to time.

The successfull candidate will have:

• an understanding of heritage and interpretation
• excellent planning and organisational skills and experience of facilities management
• the ability to build, motivate and inspire teams of volunteers and staff
• a keen interest in Elizabethan and Jacobean theatre and this period of history
