Historical Walks Volunteers

CoolWalks is CoolTan Art’s local historical walk programme, run by trained volunteers and staff. It has been offering regular historic and cultural walks in South London for over ten years. These off-the-beaten track walks are well attended by local residents, tourists and members of the public.

Coolwalks is looking for volunteers for Autumn Walks Festival 26-28 October 2017.  CoolWalks run a programme of walks and walking art workshops around South London, creating refreshing, fun and lively alternatives to the traditional pedestrian tour. You can join the CoolWalks programme as a Volunteer to help research, plan and become a Guide. The festival will take place across Southwark, with talks, walks, and urban exploration or foraging.

This is an opportunity to delve into under-explored parts of the city and take on a hands-on role in administration and operations including supporting the events, with the potential for an expanded role following the festival.
