Small Groups Network Meeting - 18 July 2019

Small Groups Network Meeting - 18 July 2019
18July 201917:45
Cambridge House, 1 Addington Square, Se5 0hf

The Small Groups Network meeting brings together people from community groups that are either completely run by volunteers or have up to 3 paid members of staff.

It is an opportunity to think about grassroots activitiy in the borough, network and meet others, and get support and information that is tailored to your needs.

Our meeting in April looked at a key area of technological development for especially small groups - digital; in leadership and in the broader sense! Kate White from Superhighways and Matthew Allgood from United St Saviour's Charity were our guest speakers.

What's on the Agenda in July?

What are the challenges involved in running a small community organisation? Three small and vibrant community organisations will be speaking on the topic in relation to their charities. What are the challenges and does it resonate with your experiences. How did you cope and were you / have you been able to overcome the challenges? Come and join us and contribute to the discussions / share your experience. What can Community Southwark do? Matthew Allgood from United St Saviour's Charity will attend and is interested to understand the issues. How should his organisation respond and help small organisations facing these challenges.

We aim to make it an interactive and stimulating event.

The event is free to attend but you will need to book below.
