NHS Southwark Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) is organising a patient and pubic engagement event on the NHS Long Term Plan and how they plan to deliver the vision of the Long Term Plan in south east London, why they need to change and what this means for services in Southwark.
The meeting takes place at Cambridge House, 4 June with light refreshments at 5.30 and the meetings taking place 6 pm – 8 pm.
Published in January, the NHS Long Term Plan sets out how our health services will be fit and sustainable for the future.
It places a greater emphasis on making sure that health and care services are more joined-up, accessible and responsive to the needs of patients.
The CCG have made progress on this in Southwark and are working with other health and care organisations – under the banner of Partnership Southwark – to develop new ways to bring services together and deliver more integrated, community-based care.
You will find out more about Partnership Southwark at the event.
