We are Recruiting: A Social Prescribing Officer

Social Prescribing Officer

This new role also comes at an important time in the development of social prescribing and aims to ensure that the VCS is an equal partner in its continuing development and implementation.

Community Southwark have been involved in running cross-sector networks to get to this point. In this role, you will be responsible for growing understanding and practice of social prescribing of interested individuals and organisations.

This role is hosted by Community Southwark within the context of our work with partners within Partnership Southwark, which brings together health, care and voluntary sector organisations to better join up care and support and improve the health and wellbeing of our local residents.  Our work on social prescribing is key to this.

This is your opportunity to help develop and lead something special for Southwark and its VCS.
