The Community Infrastructure Levy Funds will support projects in Southwark that benefit the local community, with a £6m Fund.
The money can be spent on one-off projects that will benefit the local community such as refurbishing a community centre or installing new play equipment in a park.
The first step is to share your idea - If you have a good idea for a project then let the Council know by choosing your ward and pin your idea on the map.
Anyone who lives or works in the ward concerned can suggest a project and just pin your idea on the map.
How much is available
The money spent on each individual project could be as little as £500 or as much as £750k (depending on how much is available in the relevant ward).
The money available in each ward could be spent on one big project or dozens of smaller projects.
One or more neighbouring wards can team-up and pool resources on a joint project.
Funds cannot be used for projects with ongoing costs such as paying employees or renting offices.
