Southwark Council is developing a vision for what good growth might look like in Camberwell. The area being looked at is centred around the crossroads at Camberwell Green.
The Council knows that change is happening in the area, and it wants to develop a plan so that the people of Camberwell benefit from these changes. The work also includes ideas for improvements to outdoor public spaces, in support of the area vision’s longer-term goals. Between now and this spring the architects want to learn what is important to you and your community, and they are keen answer any questions you have so you can inform the direction of future change in Camberwell. The architects work started in November 2018 and concludes in May 2019.
The architects role, working alongside Southwark Council, is to ensure that the community is aware of what they are doing and, that you have the opportunity to contribute to the process from the earliest stage, so that our proposals really work for the people of Camberwell.
