The Tate would like to invite members of the local community to attend a free taster session to find out more about volunteering at Tate.
What does the Taster session involve?
The taster session is a chance to find out more about Tate’s Volunteer programme, the roles on offer, and to meet the Volunteer team. Participants will be able to book a date option. We’ll do our best to accommodate everyone, however places will be on a first come, first served basis. There are 20 places on each taster session. Types of roles available:
Volunteer Visitor Hosts, 2 hr shifts (3 times per month for a minimum of 6 months)
Library and Archive Guide Volunteers (8 weeks of training, then conduct 45 minute tours twice a month for a minimum of 6 months)
Volunteer Family Hosts (2 hr shifts, twice a month and 4 times a month during school hollidays, for minimum 6 months)
