Lollard St. Adventure Playground 

Lollard Street Adventure Playground are in the process of renovating their space to create a vibrant and attractive environment for children aged 6-16 years of age to play. Volunteers for Deutsche Bank helped build a performance stage. They also helped with general tidying and maintenance.

Oasis Children's Centre

A team of volunteers for Swiss Re helped to improve several areas of the Oasis Children's Centre playground, this included building new raised planters to brighten up the perimeter of the playground, improving the site for both the children and for the local residents. They also helped with general tidying and maintenance and creating planters from old tires next to the sites main building.

Southwark Day Care for Asylum Centres (SDCAS)

SDCAS wanted to improve their garden space, a team of volunteers for Circle Research  created new murals for the gardens front entrance, build raised planters to increase the amount of growing space and helped with general gardening and site maintenance. The team also built large raised beds for growing tomatoes and a bench for some new seating.

Russia Dock Woodland

A team of volunteers for Deutsche Bank clearerd an overgrown section along one of the Russia Dock Woodland streams. The team removed small trees and invasive species, cut back and cleared vegetation and used the cleared vegetation to create dead hedges to provide a rich habitat for wildlife and help increase biodiversity.

Sydenham Garden

The aim of the day was to carry out improvements to the site and clear overgrown areas so that they can be brought back into productive use. A team of volunteers from EY cleared a dead hedge in an area that will be turned into a contemplation garden. They also cleared around a chicken coup and beehive to provide a useable space and help protect chickens from the local fox population.
