Treat Me Right! Is a project within Certitude (www.certitude.london) which offers free, flexible and taylored training for people with autism & learning disabilities.
Certitude is a non-for-profit organisation which provides support services for people with learning disabilities and/or autism.
The team in Treat Me Right! believe that people with learning disabilities and/or autism can speak for themselves and so everything is co-produced and co-delivered by experts by experience.
Part of the team's role in Treat Me Right! (https://www.certitude.org.uk/what-we-do/treat-me-right/) is to improve the accessibility of people with learning disabilities and/or autism to medical and community services.
They believe that by increasing awareness and training key staff on how to better understand and communicate with autistic people or people with learning disabilities, they can reduce the inequality gap for accessing medical and community services. Health Education England has funded the project to train staff, carers and family members at carers centres, advice and community organisations.
The training can be flexibly tailored to your organisational needs and delivered at your location.
