Southwark Council have commissioned a charity called Parentzone who provide advice and workshops for organisations on the subject of online safety and anti grooming measures that can be taken to protect vulnerable people.
The idea of the training is to equip organisations to give accurate and up to date advice to service users who might be vulnerable to online grooming covering all kinds of areas i.e. sexual , gang related and radicalisation towards violent extremism. This training is worth £1000 but is free to you and your network and will be bespoke to you as leads in the CVS sector .
MONDAY 10th DECEMBER has been set aside for the full-day training for community/voluntary organisations.
The session itself will run from 10am – 3pm, and will take place at 132 Queens Road, Peckham. For further details and to book your place please contact Grant Bones at Southwark Council
